The band on a terrace overlooking the bay at golden hour

Destination weddings

Music without borders.

Lake Como, Tuscany, Geneva, the Riviera, or a beach on the other side of the world. A band that travels with instruments, not a lorry, and sings to your guests in five languages.

Why a roaming band travels well

Built to travel

Three reasons couples marrying abroad book a band that walks instead of a band that stands.

I

We travel light

Instruments, not a lorry of production. No stage, no rig, no power: a roaming band lands, walks in and plays, in a palazzo or on a beach.

II

One contact for everything

The band, the DJ, the saxophonist, the travel, the timeline with your planner: one agency, one person, one proposal.

III

Guests from everywhere, one party

English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese. The band that sings to your Italian aunt and your London friends in the same set.

Home ground

The French Riviera and Monaco

Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Saint-Tropez, Monaco, and the villas and châteaux between them. The agency is based in Nice: the shortest logistics, the deepest knowledge of the venues, and the bands that play the coast every weekend of the season.

Ask about your date
The band playing to a table in a flowered Italian gardenThe couple leaving the church as the band plays

Lake Como, Tuscany, Amalfi, Puglia

Italy

Italian weddings are where the roaming format was made for: long tables under the olive trees, a terrace over the lake, a courtyard in a borgo. The Serenades bring Italian musicians and an Italian repertoire; every band on the roster sings Italian classics.

Ask about your date
The band playing in an alpine meadow

Geneva, Lausanne, the Alps

Switzerland

Lakeside hotels, mountain chalets, a meadow above Verbier. The bands have played Swiss luxury venues from the Bürgenstock to Gstaad, and a roaming set handles a chalet as naturally as a ballroom.

Ask about your date

More than ten countries so far

Anywhere you say yes

From a riad in Marrakech to a beach in Mykonos, the roster has brought its music to more than ten countries. The further the venue, the earlier we plan, and the more the light footprint pays off.

Ask about your date

The logistics, answered

How it works from afar

Marrying abroad adds a hundred decisions. The music should not be one of them.

I

Tell us where and when

Country, venue, date, guest count. The earlier the better for a summer Saturday abroad.

II

We propose the band and the plan

The acts that fit the room and the culture of your guest list, their availability, and a proposal with travel set out.

III

We handle the journey

Transport, accommodation and timings are the agency's job. You and your planner keep one contact.

IV

We arrive, we walk in, we play

No soundcheck, no rig. The band meets your guests when the music starts.

The evidence

Bands in beautiful places

Vineyards, terraces, palazzi and chalets. The band where the wedding is.

We had the Brotherockers perform at our wedding and we could not have made a better choice. They played throughout our cocktail dinner and after our main dinner and they were the standout event of the day. Everybody was raving about them afterwards. They helped to create a high energy and positive vibe throughout the day and ensured they roamed around to include all wedding guests at different stages of the day. We used the Brotherockers to DJ and play the saxophone into the late night which I highly recommend including in your package. If you’re considering musicians for your wedding we couldn’t recommend The Brotherockers enough!

Where to start? From start to finish they were incredible! Got all the wedding guests singing and dancing. Brought the tempo of the wedding up throughout the day and then the DJ was amazing right up until the end! All of our special requests were planned before and made the actual day so unbelievably fun! So many guests loved the band! Overall 10/10. Pierre was also amazing throughout the planning process and linked in with the wedding planner to make the entertainment so so good!

The Brotherockers sont juste exceptionnels !

All questions
What is a roaming band?

A roaming band, also called a strolling band, plays unplugged and on the move. The musicians sing without microphones and walk among your guests, using the whole venue rather than a stage. Every set is close, personal and interactive: the music comes to the table, the terrace, the dancefloor.

How loud is a roaming band?

Loud enough to get 150 people dancing, quiet enough to talk over at the next table. There is no heavy amplification: the concept brings the music directly to the guests, passing between the groups and the tables. It cannot be compared with a DJ through a sound system, and that is the point.

For larger events the band can plug into a sound system with wireless microphones, or play on stage with a full amplified set-up: guitar and bass amps, acoustic drum kit.

Which languages do you sing in?

English, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese across the roster. Each band page lists its own languages. International guest lists are our natural habitat: the repertoire is built to reach every table, whatever the passport.

How far in advance should we book?

As soon as your date and venue are set. Summer Saturdays on the Riviera and in Italy are often taken a year ahead. That said, the bands are highly responsive and prepared to travel at short notice: if you have a musical emergency, we would be delighted to solve it.

How does the booking process work?

Tell us the date, the place, the number of guests and your budget through the enquiry form. Pierre answers within the day with the acts that fit and their availability. A short call settles the programme. A signed agreement and a deposit confirm the date. From there the agency handles the planning with you and your planner, down to the last song.

Do you work with wedding planners and venues?

All the time. Planners and venue teams have one contact at the agency for the timeline, the set times, the technical needs and the special songs. Several of our Google reviews are written by planners who book us for their couples year after year.

How long do you play?

Three sets of thirty minutes is the classic format, spread across the key moments of the event: drinks reception, dinner, dancefloor. For larger or premium events we also offer four sets of thirty minutes or three sets of forty. The DJ then carries the night from the last band set onwards.
